AUTOLOGOUS MEDIA THERAPY

What is autologous mesotherapy or PRP (Rich Platelet Plasma)?

This is a mesotherapy in which we do not use substances such as hyaluronic acid and vitamins but instead inject autologous (ie the patient’s own) plasma rich in platelets.

The patient’s platelets have the ability to gradually release growth factors at the appropriate points where we inject. Through PRP treatment the growth factors multiply, activating more stem cells.

Growth factors are responsible for efficient and rapid tissue regeneration.

What is the goal of autologous mesotherapy?

The goal is not the immediate filling of wrinkles, but the stimulation of fibroblasts which will then produce new collagen and all the necessary factors of the cellular network (elastin, glycoproteins, etc.) as well as hyaluronic acid, which are responsible for the regeneration and hydration of the skin.

In what cases is it used?

  • for the correction of fine and deep wrinkles as well as expression wrinkles, both on the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
  • for skin hydration
  • for the correction of acne scars
  • for the correction of stretch marks
  • on the scalp for alopecia and hair loss
  • in discolorations of the face or hands

What is the process?

The process is simple and painless. First, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient, which is then centrifuged.

In this way we isolate the plasma which is rich in platelets and growth factors.

The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is then activated by the addition of a nucleotide solution (PRP with DNA activator), as well as by the addition of calcium ions. Even better, activation can be done with autologous thrombin.

In this case, the doctor activates the patient’s blood using his own blood, autologous thrombin, without the use of additional solutions.

After the blood is activated what comes next?

Then, the plasma is injected into the face, neck, décolleté and hands, either locally in the deep wrinkles or with the mesotherapy technique.

Is the treatment safe?

It is a very safe treatment because it uses the patient’s blood and thus there is no risk of allergic reactions. Also, given the rapid healing thanks to the action of the platelets, the patient normally returns to work the next day.
